You’ll require the following to purchase a permit:

1. A photograph for your permit.
   
   You will need to upload a photograph for use on your fishing permit, ensuring the photo clearly shows your face only. Below are examples of photo types we can and cannot accept:
   
2. Your rod licence number.
   
   Fishing without a licence is an offence and we therefore request your rod licence number. It will have been sent to you via email by the Environment Agency when you purchased. If you cannot find a record of your licence number, please contact the Environment Agency on 0344 800 5386.
      
3. The registration number of vehicle(s) you will use to access the Welbeck Estate.
   

   After registration, it is your responsibility to keep this information accurate and current. You can update via your online account.

4. A valid payment method.
   
   Credit/debit card payment is recommended, as it enabled faster issue of your permit. If you cannot pay online via credit or debit card, you can pay via cheque or cash in person.

   Regardless of the payment option you select, all fishing permits are issued digitally.
